Accessibility
Accessibility statement
The Centre for Family Entrepreneurship and Ownership (CeFEO) at Jönköping International Business School runs fest.cefeo.se. We want as many people as possible to be able to use the website.
How accessible is the website?
We aim for level AA of WCAG 2.1. The website partially conforms to that level. The shortcomings we know of are described below.
What works
- The page is built with semantic HTML and can be used entirely by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- All images have text alternatives, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Text and background meet the contrast requirements, and colour is never the only way information is conveyed.
- The page works at 400% zoom and on small screens, without content disappearing.
- Transitions and animations are turned off for anyone who has chosen reduced motion in their operating system.
- The website is available in Swedish and English, and the language of each page is marked in the code.
Known shortcomings
The film
The film about FEST plays in Vimeo's player and has no audio description, that is, a description of what is shown but not said (WCAG 1.2.5). Get in touch if you need the content in another format.
Logos
The logos of FEST, the organiser, partners and sponsors are images of text (WCAG 1.4.5). All have text alternatives with the organisation's name.
Competition stages and year selector
The three competition stages and the year selector under Schools, case and winners switch content with JavaScript. Without JavaScript, all stages and all years are shown as plain text.
Teachers' portal
The teachers' portal and CeFEO's learning platform at edu.cefeo.se are an external service (LearnWorlds) not covered by this statement.
Report shortcomings
If you cannot use parts of the website, contact infocefeo@ju.se. We normally reply within ten working days and will give you the information in another format if we cannot fix the problem straight away.
Supervision
The Agency for Digital Government (DIGG) supervises the Swedish Act on accessibility to digital public services. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your comments, you can report it to DIGG (in Swedish).
How we tested the website
Internal review: automated checks of code and contrast, and manual testing with the keyboard and at 400% zoom. This statement covers fest.cefeo.se and was drawn up on 29 October 2026.
